Complete Project Management.

From initial consultation throughout all stages of your project, at Parkwood we carefully listen to your needs and invite your input to ensure your total satisfaction in the finished structure.

We initially visit your property and explore your needs in terms of the conservatory footprint shape, size and aspect, roof design, base and wall materials, timber species (hardwood or engineered laminated softwood), and whether you require a lacquered, stained or solid factory applied paint finish.

From this consultation our team set to work in developing design ideas in the form of sketches. These ideas are further developed, again with your input, in terms of glazing specification and ventilation options, section moulds, window and door hardware and furniture, and finally paint or stain colour and texture. A detailed quotation is submitted to you and, once commissioned; we produce detailed working drawings, for your approval.

At Parkwood we are happy to advise with regard to planning matters and routinely consult local authority planning departments, building control officers and architects on your behalf, if you so require. We are very experienced in grade listed building matters and English heritage work.

Following planning authority approval of your proposed project, a timetable of manufacturing works, installation and decoration of your hardwood conservatory (or orangery) is drawn up and provided.

Throughout all stages of the design and manufacturing process you are encouraged and more than welcome to visit our modern joinery factory to view your project's progress.

Once on site, our experienced installation team carefully and thoughtfully erect your conservatory with meticulous attention to detail and with the minimal disruption possible to your everyday living.

Conservatories Manufactured with Precision and Attention to Detail.

At Parkwood, we listen to and carefully document your desires, with regard to all aspects of your proposed hardwood conservatory, garden building, sunroom or orangery.

We use this information, gleaned over typically several meetings, to create a beautiful joinery solution, skilfully designed to complement and seamlessly blend with the architectural detail and character of your existing property.

We match the architectural style of your existing joinery with that designed into your new conservatory or orangery. We project the paint colour of your existing joinery and the style of your existing door and window handles into the new joinery work. Gutter sections and fall pipes are chosen to mirror those already present. Existing building materials such as stone and brick are copied, as closely as possible, or contrasted and used as the basis for your beautiful new or replacement conservatory.

Exquisite traditional and contemporary carpentry themes, manufacturing methods and materials are used in conjunction with modern state of the art hardware, draught seals, bespoke glazed units, ventilation systems and security fittings to create a versatile new dimension to your living space and lifestyle.

Unique and Bespoke Designed Hardwood Conservatories.

Timber conservatories were originally introduced during the Victorian period for growing tropical plants, in our cooler temperate climate. These days wooden conservatories are generally used to provide additional light, airy and luxurious environments to grace and enhance domestic homes, hotels and commercial work spaces.

At Parkwood, over three decades, we have become accomplished and skilled manufacturers of hardwood and engineered, laminated softwood conservatories, Orangeries, garden houses and sun rooms. All our traditional and contemporary designs are truly bespoke and individual. No two hardwood conservatories manufactured by Parkwood are the same. It is our purpose here to create handsome and practical designs that seamlessly blend with the appearance and character of your existing architecture.
