Hardwood Residential Door, French Door & Bi-Folding Door Sets.Our doors and door-sets are individually crafted to your chosen style, using age old manufacturing techniques incorporating the proven wedged mortise and tenon joint. This traditional manufacturing philosophy is complemented with 21st century multi-point locking secure hardware, door furniture, draught seals, ventilated beads and factory applied double glazing and paint finishes.
All door sets are available in a variety of hardwoods and engineered laminated softwoods. European Oak is a particular speciality of Parkwood.
Residential & Single Door Sets.
External doors boast an impressive 58mm thickness and are factory hung into their respective frames, ensuring accuracy of fit and seal. Door are hung on substantial lift off, fully adjustable, hinges.
Weather seals are discreetly grooved into the joinery to guarantee a weather proof seal.
A drainage bar is fitted to the cill of all inward opening doors to provide a continuous seal along the door bottom when the door is in the locked position. The drainage bar conforms to Regulation Part M (wheelchair access)
An attractive choice of lever handle operates a multi-point locking mechanism for a high level of security.
French & Double Door Sets.
Where double doors are chosen, concealed edge fitting bolts are fitted to the fixed door and a multiple point locking mechanism with top and bottom shoot bolts on the lead door.
Inward opening double doors have the same drainage bar fitted to the cill as the residential door. The drainage bar conforms to Regulation Part M (wheelchair access).

At Parkwood we manufacture hardwood and laminated softwood doors and doorsets to bespoke sizes and designs. They are fitted on smooth operating hardware for timber, sliding doors, sliding/folding doors and tilt & slide fittings for larger doors.
Systems can comprise three to seven opening doors, with one door opening independently as a turn-only or tilt-and-turn, providing a tilt position for ventilation. A low-threshold sill option is also available.
Door fittings are manufactured from steel and fit a range of widths and heights that support substantial weights with the sliding folding door set available up to 6300mm wide.

Our time-served joinery craftsmen hand-fabricate your door sets using your choice of quality hardwood or laminated engineered softwood. Traditional joinery practices are employed, along side modern weather seals, glazing units, finishes, hi-tech and high security door hardware options and a comprehensive range of architectural door furniture providing the perfect package.
Doors and frames are finished in our factory finishing shop with modern micro-porous paints or stains. Advice and guidance is given with regard to routine and longer term maintenance to comply with manufacturers comprehensive coatings warranties.
All door and door-set products, manufactured and supplied by us at Parkwood, are fitted by Parkwood experienced installers with great emphasis given to complete customer satisfaction, brought about through meticulous care and attention to detail, from concept through to installation.
